The Philippines is famed for its heavenly tropical islands but, this archipelago is more than just crystal clear water and powder-like sand. The 7,100 island is also home for other heavenly spots like the Cordillera region. The mountain side of the country where land meets the clouds, where the indigenous culture is preserved and still being practiced, and where the air is filtered by the endemic trees of the Philippines.
The region that boasts its natural and man-made attractions like the Banaue Rice Terraces, green mountains and the centuries-old Hanging Coffins. Engage actively with nature as you trek through the caves of Sagada and on the weirs of the rice terraces. Experience pre-colonial culture of the Ifugao and the Igorot, the indigent tribes that rule the area for more than 2,000 years. Savor a unique gastronomical adventure by digging in to local cuisines and acculturated food scene. A personal tour guide will be present all throughout the duration of the tour and a private vehicle that is dedicated for our use. Accommodation will be provided however; free breakfast may depend on hotels and location. Fees such as entrance, environmental, tourism, etc. are all included. All other expenses like food and other activities that may require fees are at the tourist’s own expense.

A day tour to Tagaytay to see Taal, the smallest volcano in the world. We can add this tour before we head on to Baguio City.

Day 1
Arrival in Manila with accommodation

Day 2 Option A
After breakfast, visit the biggest shopping mall in the region the SM Mall of Asia. Check out local shops and restaurants before we head to the old city of Manila, the Walled City of Intramuros. Walk through the historical fortress built in 16th century during the Spanish colonial era in the Philippines. We will end the day with dinner buffet that features local Filipino cuisines accompanied by a cultural show.

Day 2 Option B
After breakfast, we will take a day trip to Villa Escudero where you can experience riding a farmer-style carriage with carrabao, lunch by the waterfalls, visit a family owned museum, swim and a chance to see cultural show on a weekend. We will head back to Manila for the night to give you time to explore the biggest shopping mall in Southeast Asia the SM Mall of Asia.

Day 3
Prepare yourself as we start our great journey to the Mountain side of the Philippines. Our first stop, the Summer Capital, Baguio City. Famed for their Panagbenga Festival or Flower Festival, this colorful city offers more than just that. Restaurants with scenic view, night market, bars and many more. Get relaxed as we treat you to a traditional Filipino massage before we get physical on our next destination.

Day 4
Right after breakfast we will have a little sightseeing tour then, we will hit the road going to the home of centuries-old hanging coffins, Sagada.

Day 5
Today is trekking day. As we are having breakfast we will choose which between the two caves we will explore. After lunch, we are heading to another trekking to see the famous hanging coffins. Other attractions such as lake and pottery can also be visited depending on the schedule.

Day 6
We will depart Sagada to Banaue. We will check in to our hotel with a great view of the mountains then, we will take you to one of UNESCO’s Wolrd Herritage the Banaue Rice Terraces built by the Ifugao tribe about 2000 years ago. Right after that, we will trek through to Batad to explore the amphitheater-like rice terraces. After a long day we will go back to the hotel for a dinner and get a chance to see a traditional dance of the Ifugao tribe.

(Optional)
Trek an exciting three to four hours on the rice fields and through the village to see and swim at the waterfalls of Tappiya.

Day7
Prepare for a long ride as we hit the road back to the capital of the Philippines, Manila!
